Fring

Fring is a simple application that you can use to make voice calls via Skype, directly from your Android device.

To do this, you need to meet several requirements: first, you need to be registered in both Fring and Skype, and secondly, you need to have access to an Internet connection, whether Wifi or 3G.

Besides having conversations like you're talking on the phone, Fring allows you to send instant messages and supports video calls from the contacts that are using a webcam at the time of calling.

In theory, Fring is a very interesting application, although in practice, connectivity issues can make you look bad if you're in the middle of an important call.
